There are 8 Intermediate Technical Rescue Units strategically located across the state:

Broken Arrow	Region 7	Seminole	Region 5
Cushing	Region 2	Weatherford	Region 1

Cost:

$450,000 per unit

Description:

Each of the Technical Rescue Units has a 38-foot trailer equipped with a quad-cab four-wheel drive tow vehicle. The tow vehicle is designed to pull the trailer. However, once on scene it has the capability to disconnect from the trailer and be used for other needed functions such as transporting responders and equipment closer to the incident.

Cave in/Trench rescue; and Command Center

Team:

Minimum of 9 team members specially trained personnel in NFPA 1670 rescue operations level
