The Oklahoma Office of Homeland Security (OKOHS) is the Program Manager for Citizen Corps in the state of Oklahoma. The Citizen Corps Program is one of the few grant programs awarded by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) that provides funding specifically to assist in the preparedness of our communities and our citizens. Oklahoma Citizen Corps and Red Dirt Ready are programs that work hand in hand to encourage Oklahomans to get prepared for any emergency that could affect their way of life and to give back by volunteering in their community.
This Web site is designed to be a one stop resource for Citizen Corps in Oklahoma:
Want to get involved in Citizen Corps? Start a Citizen Corps Council? Read "A Guide for Local Officials."
