STATE CITIZEN CORPS COUNCIL

Executive Order 2008-45 required OKOHS to establish a State Citizen Corps Council.  In Oklahoma, there are a variety of groups, communities, organizations, public safety entities and individuals who are passionate Citizen Corps supporters.  While there is a need to be as inclusive as possible, there is also a need for the size of the State Council to not outgrow the ability to guide Citizen Corps programmatically.  OKOHS considered urban/rural, all of the partner programs, local response disciplines, volunteer organizations assisting in disasters, special needs, health/medical and representation from as many homeland security regions as possible when establishing the State Citizen Corps Council.  The following are the 13 membership positions and the individual who is currently serving in each position.
