2008 Proposed Changes to Chapter 667 - Hospital Standards

The Oklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH) is soliciting written comments on a request for changes to the licensure rules for hospitals contained in Title 310 of the Oklahoma Administrative Code, Chapter 667 Hospital Standards.  The Oklahoma State Stroke Systems Advisory Committee (OSSSAC) has recommended changes to Subchapter 58, Section 17 Classification of emergency neurology services.  The proposed draft language and the OSSSAC's justification for recommending these amendments may be viewed by clicking on the following link: OSSSAC proposed rule changes

OSDH and OHA are encouraging all licensed hospitals to review the proposed rule language and to send your written comments via email to:  medicalfacilities@health.ok.gov or by mail to:  Oklahoma State Department of Health, Medical Facilities Service, 1000 NE 10th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73117-1299.  If possible, comments are requested by close of business on April 23, 2008 as the next meeting of the Hospital Advisory Council is scheduled for April 24, 2008 at 13:30 in Room 314 here at the Oklahoma State Department of Health building located at 1000 NE 10th Street in Oklahoma City.  These recommended changes are expected to be an item on the agenda for this group to discuss and all interested parties are welcome to attend.
