Caring Hearts of Oklahoma
Share Talents, Enhance Lives
Caring Hearts of Oklahoma, an initiative of Protective Health Services with the Oklahoma State Department of Health, is seeking volunteers to enhance the quality of life of more than 23,000 residents in nursing homes. We simply ask that you play, sing or just share some time with residents at least four times a year. In addition to the reward of volunteering, you will be honored as a Caring Heart of Oklahoma.
Resources
Caring Hearts also serves as a resource for long term care providers, offering training to administrators, activity directors, and social service directors. Outreach efforts for the program include public information and speaking engagements promoting volunteerism in nursing facilities.
