Radiation Advisory Committee

This Committee is mandated by statute (Title 63, Oklahoma Statutes, Section 1-1504.1) to serve in an advisory capacity to the State Board of Health in the formulation and amendment of rules and regulations relating to the use of diagnostic x-ray systems. The Committee consists of seven members (7) appointed by the Board on the basis of training and experience in the field of diagnostic x-ray technology and procedure. They shall serve in an advisory capacity to the Board in the formulation and alteration of rules and regulations relating to radiation hazards and radiation protection. Members of the Committee serve at the pleasure of the Board.
