Oklahoma State Department of Health Analog Satellite Information: The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and many other public health organizations use Analog C/Ku Band satellite broadcasts to disseminate information throughout the united states and its territories. The Oklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH) maintains satellite downlink receivers at most of our County Health Departments. Reserving the OSDH Central Office Satellite Receiver: NOTE: Even though we have several rooms that can be used as viewing rooms at the central office we only have two satellite receivers. Therefore, only two different program broadcasts can be viewed at a time. Remember, when scheduling a satellite broadcast, you must reserve a viewing room and the use of a satellite receiver--not just the room.
