The bite of a mosquito infected with West Nile virus could make you very sick, so you don’t want them setting up housekeeping near you. Mosquitoes can lay their eggs in small amounts of water. Make it a habit to empty your buckets, flowerpots, pet water bowls, birdbaths, stored tires, and all the other places that can hold water.
