Swine Flu Hotline & Web Site Reminder

The Oklahoma State Department of Health is appreciative of the response Oklahoma media is providing in coverage of the ongoing swine flu outbreak. A reminder for your readers, listeners or viewers that we have set up a phone bank for persons with questions about swine flu. The toll-free number is 1-866-278-7134. Currently, phones are answered 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. We will expand our hours if necessary.

We also remind you about our Swine Flu Web site at: www.health.ok.gov. We are posting new information materials to this Web site throughout the day. Another valuable information source is the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Swine Flu Web site at www.cdc.gov/swineflu.
