News Conferences on Swine Flu Outbreak Scheduled in
Oklahoma City and Tulsa Today
What: The Oklahoma State Department of Health and the Tulsa Health Department will each host news conferences this afternoon at their respective offices to update news media on status of swine flu outbreak in Oklahoma.

Why: The Oklahoma State Department of Health, Tulsa Health Department,
Oklahoma City-County Health Department, and the state's 68 local county health departments are responding to the nationwide public health
emergency associated with the ongoing swine flu outbreak now confirmed
in several states. Today's news conferences will detail state and local
response in swine flu disease surveillance and provide specific actions the
public can follow in an effort to protect themselves from infection.
