News Conference on H1N1 Influenza (Swine Flu) Scheduled Today

What: The Oklahoma State Department of Health will host a news conference this morning to update news media on the status of the H1N1 influenza (swine flu) outbreak in Oklahoma.

Why: The Oklahoma State Department of Health, Oklahoma City-County Health Department, Tulsa Health Department and the state's 68 local county health departments are responding to the nationwide public health emergency associated with the ongoing H1N1 flu outbreak. Today's news conference will detail any confirmation of cases in Oklahoma and state and local response in H1N1 disease surveillance.
