Champions of Health Award Nominations Solicited

Do you know a Champion? Nominate an individual or organization who champions the health of Oklahomans for the sixth annual Champions of Health awards.

The Champions of Health awards recognize those working to improve the health of our state. Nominations are accepted in five categories:

• Uninsured
• Children’s Health
• Community Health
• Senior Health
• Corporate Health

Winners receive a $1,000 contribution to their organization or program and recognition at a November 2009 awards ceremony at the Renaissance Tulsa Hotel and Conference Center.

The Champions of Health awards are presented by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma, the Oklahoma State Department of Health, the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, the Oklahoma Hospital Association, the Oklahoma State Medical Association, and the Oklahoma Osteopathic Association.
