Arthritis Network to Discuss Taking Charge of Your Health

“Courage to Take Charge: Taking Charge of Your Health” is the topic of the Thursday, Oct. 4, meeting of the Oklahoma Arthritis Network (OAN) at 2 p.m. at the Oklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH), 1000 N.E. 10th Street, in Oklahoma City.

Guest speaker for the event will be Brandi Fossett, program planner for the Northern Oklahoma Development Authority Area Agency on Aging in Enid. Fossett is an Arthritis Foundation exercise instructor in Garfield County. She implemented the Chronic Disease Self Management Program in collaboration with the Department of Human Services Aging Service Division, the Wheatheart Nutrition Project and the OSDH. She is also a member of the Oklahoma Task Force on Minority Aging, Oklahoma Public Health Association and the Resource Alliance in Enid.
