Take Charge! Program
Offers No Cost Clinical Breast Exams and Cervical Screening

The Tulsa City-County Health Department, located at 5051 S. 129th, Tulsa, is having a Take Charge! clinic on Monday, Feb. 27. Women who qualify for the Take Charge! Program will receive no cost clinical breast exams, PAP smears, and a coupon for a mammogram. The clinic will be held on Feb. 27 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. To schedule your appointment at the clinic, call 595-4569.

In order to qualify for services, a woman must meet the following guidelines:

• low income; and
• not covered by insurance or a high unmet deductible; and
• not covered by Medicaid or Medicare, and
• between the ages of 50-64.

In addition to the clinic on Feb. 27, other Take Charge! clinics are scheduled at this location from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. the 4th Monday of each month.

This program is offered through a partnership between the OU College of Nursing, Tulsa City-County Health Department, and the Take Charge! Program, Chronic Disease Service, Oklahoma State Department of Health.
