Take Charge! Program Offers No Cost Clinical Breast Exams and Cervical Screening

The Thomas Family Medicine Center, located at 100 S. 2nd, Thomas, is having a Take Charge! clinic on Wednesday, Jan. 25. Women who qualify for the Take Charge! Program will receive no cost clinical breast exams, PAP smears, and a coupon for a mammogram.

The clinic will be held on Jan. 25 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. To schedule your appointment at the clinic, call 580-661-3711.

In order to qualify for services, a woman must meet the following guidelines:

• low income; and
• not covered by insurance or a high unmet deductible; and
• not covered by Medicaid or Medicare, and
• between the ages of 50-64.

In addition to the clinic on Jan. 25, regular clinics are scheduled from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. every Wednesday.

This program is offered through a partnership between the Thomas Family Medicine Center and the Take Charge! Program, Chronic Disease Service, Oklahoma State Department of Health.
