Flu Bug is Ready to Bite, Vaccine Still Available
The _____ County Health Department confirmed today that influenza is making its way into the state. “The flu bug is poised to bite,” said _____ County Health Department Administrative Director _____. “The best way to protect yourself and your loved ones is to get a flu shot.”
_____ stressed it is not too late to get a flu shot and the _____ County Health Department still has a supply of vaccine for adults and children. Flu shots are available (list clinic times). Although it takes 10 to 14 days to reach full immunity from influenza after getting a flu shot, some immunity does begin shortly after receiving the shot. You still have time to protect yourself from the flu by getting your flu shot now,” _____ said.
