Task Force on Hospital Emergency Services and Trauma Care

What:	Meeting of the Task Force on Hospital Emergency Services and Trauma Care
When:	Friday, January 23, 1 p.m.
Where:	Metro Tech Business Conference Center Springlake Campus - Carousel/Big Dipper Room 1900 Springlake Drive, Oklahoma City
Background:	SB 621 passed by the Oklahoma State Legislature created the Task Force on Hospital Emergency Services and Trauma Care to answer the question, “How can we ensure that all Oklahomans who are in need of emergency health care services have those services available to them?”

The task force must submit a report of its findings to the legislature by Feb. 1, 2004. The report should include any task force recommendations for changes in existing statutory provisions related to hospitals and ambulatory surgical centers and the delivery of hospital emergency services and trauma care.

In this fifth meeting of the task force, members will review for approval a final draft copy of the Task Force Report.
