Background: Legislative proposals currently in committee will ensure clean indoor air in most public places and workplaces. Such legislation is actively supported by a large majority of Oklahomans, according to numerous statewide polls. Speakers at this news conference will issue a call to action to legislators to complete the important work that will assure landmark legislation is in place to protect Oklahomans from the health effects of secondhand tobacco smoke.
