What: News conference to discuss the proposed amendments to Oklahoma’s child passenger safety law.

Where: State Capitol, Second Floor Rotunda

Why:

• Because car crash injuries are the leading health risk to Oklahoma children over age 1.
• Because more than 70 percent of the children who die in a car crash are not in a child safety seat.
• Because what is currently legal in Oklahoma is not safe.
• Because S.B. 910 would bring Oklahoma law closer in line with “best practice.”
