||Since 1997, the Oklahoma State Board of Health has issued an annual State of the State’s Health to provide an assessment of the general health status of Oklahomans. The report identifies public health trends and underlying causes contributing to health status. The 2001 report also focuses on solutions. It emphasizes that physicians, public health professionals, business leaders, state government, faith communities, and others must work together. Coordinated prevention activities through partnerships must be a top priority and are the key to improving Oklahoma’s health status.
||The five-person panel will be available for media questions following the presentation.
