Training & Education
Welcome to the TPRS Training & Education page!
TPRS is primarily funded with federal homeland security grants administered by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) and distributed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Atlanta, Ga. A condition of such continued funding is a robust training and education program. TPRS training efforts are targeted to health and medical professionals as well as preparedness partners at regional, state, tribal and local levels. The goal of the training and education program is to help prepare public health responders, and their response partners, for a catastrophic health event of either natural or man-made origin.
