Regional Staff
Regional Preparedness and Response Teams are made up of two to three personnel who serve in either a regional planner or a regional nurse capacity. This team works with local health departments and communities in preparing for emergency responses that may occur within their community. Regional planners have backgrounds in police, fire, EMS or military. Regional nurses are skilled in communicable disease investigation and detection. Together they provide a source of subject matter experts to the communities they serve.
