Oklahoma Violent Death Reporting System Advisory Committee The Oklahoma Violent Death Reporting System (OK-VDRS) Advisory Committee is a joint project of the Oklahoma State Department of Health, Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, and the Oklahoma chiefs of Police Association. The OK-VDRS compiles and links data on violent deaths from four data sources: medical examiners' reports, death certificates, police records, and crime laboratory records. Violent deaths include homicides, suicides, unintentional firearm deaths, and deaths from undetermined intent.
