Oklahoma Violent Death Reporting System Advisory Committee
The Oklahoma Violent Death Reporting System (OKVDRS) Advisory Committee is a joint project of the Oklahoma State Department of Health, Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, and the Oklahoma Chiefs of Police Association. The OKVDRS compiles and links data on violent deaths from four data sources: medical examiners' reports, death certificates, police records, and crime laboratory records. Violent deaths include homicides, suicides, unintentional firearm deaths, and deaths from undetermined intent.
All meetings begin at 1:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted. The committee meets once a year at:
