Injury-Free Oklahoma 2010-2015: Strategic Plan for Injury and Violence Prevention

To address preventing injuries, disability, and premature death during the first decade of the 21st century, eight priority areas were identified and work groups were organized for each area. Each work group was responsible to: 1) research the magnitude of the problem in the U.S. and Oklahoma; 2) determine proven or promising evidence-based prevention strategies; and 3) recommend prevention strategies and an implementation plan. The resulting document, Injury-Free Oklahoma 2010-2015, will serve as a resource and guide for injury prevention efforts in Oklahoma.
