Division of Prevention and Intervention

The Division of Prevention and Intervention is responsible for overall investigation of all reported HIV and STDs, management of newly reported HIV and STDs, and facilitates all medical referral services for anyone who has been infected or exposed to HIV or STDs. This also includes oversight of all funded and non-funded HIV testing sites in Oklahoma. 

The division is also responsible for providing training and education in HIV counseling, risk reduction, and STD prevention to community partners and consumers. 

The division receives federal funds for both HIV and STD prevention through Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and has over twenty highly trained and educated professionals to provide these services. 

The current Division Director is Chang Lee.
