Medical System Status

The Oklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH) continues to monitor the status of Oklahoma’s hospitals as part of its ongoing response to the H1N1 pandemic.   OSDH is currently surveying general medical/surgical hospitals on a weekly basis to measure statewide hospital bed availability, hospital emergency department activity, and elements of stress within the hospital system.   This information assists local, state and federal health officials in establishing response strategies and objectives.  Selected information collected from the hospital system surveys will be updated and posted after 2 p.m. every Thursday.
