About Us The Emergency Preparedness and Response Service (EPRS) coordinates public health and medical system emergency response planning and operations for the agency. EPRS administers the Centers for Disease and Control and Prevention's (CDC) Public Health Emergency Preparedness Grant and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Service's (HHS) Hospital Preparedness Program Grant. This office also oversees supplemental grants such as the 2009 H1N1 Public Health Emergency Response grants and the Emergency System for Advanced Registry of Voluntary Health Professionals (ESAR-VHP). Each of these grant programs strive to prepare and enhance the public health and medical systems in Oklahoma to better respond to catastrophic health emergencies.
