Policies and Standards

During 2008, the GIS Coordinator and GIS Advisory Committee will be working on developing policies and standards related to the use of GIS data and technology in OSDH.

Some of the first policies that will be developed relate to GIS data and software access. Other standards to be developed relate to:

• Map templates
• Metadata
• Geocoding
  • Geocoding Standards and Guidelines (PDF, 241 KB)
• Privacy
