GIS Advisory Committee

The GIS Advisory Committee was created in August of 2007 to support existing and emerging GIS activities in OSDH.  The committee is a subcommittee of the Health Informatics Council, and the membership consists of invited individuals from most Services in OSDH.  The group meets about once a month as needed.

Activities of the GIS Advisory Committee include:

• Developing GIS standards and policies
• Developing the OSDH GIS Strategic Plan
• Consulting on the design and implementation of the centralized GIS system
