NurseTuberculosis

The purpose of the Tuberculosis Program is to identify and treat clients with tuberculosis, insure appropriate measures are taken to prevent the occurrence and transmission of tuberculosis, analyze tuberculosis related data for program planning and evaluation, and ultimately eliminate tuberculosis in Seminole County.

Tuberculosis Services

  • Provide TB skin test (PPD) for contact cases
  • Follow-up and treatment for those with active TB and/or a positive skin test.

Tuberculosis information

Fees

No Fee is charged for Tuberculosis services.

Hours

Mondays, 8:00-11:00 a.m. and 1:00-4:00 p.m. for a TB skin test.

Clients are required to return 48-72 hours after receiving their skin test to complete the process.

Follow-up and treatment provided through General Clinic in the Wewoka site on Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. -  11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. in the Seminole site Monday and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. -11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.
