Family Children First

A community-based voluntary
family resource program offering
home visits by Public Health
Nurses to families expecting to
deliver and/or parent their first child.

Services include:

Health assessments for mother and baby
Pregnancy/Parenting education
Nutritional education
Home safety education
General health education
Resource referrals

Home visitation services are provided at no cost to the family. Moms must
be less than 29 weeks gestation and meet WIC/Medicaid income
guidelines to qualify for the program.
