The Family Planning Program at the Okfuskee County Health Department strives to prevent unintended pregnancies, including adolescent pregnancies by providing "individuals with the information and means to exercise personal choice in determining the number and spacing of their children". The Family Planning Program at the Okfuskee County Health Department provides clinical and counseling services for women of child bearing age who reside in Okfuskee County. The following services are provided for women of childbearing age who reside in Okfuskee County:
Family Planning Counseling Services Counseling regarding various methods of birth control are also available for women of childbearing age who reside in Okfuskee County. Counseling may be conducted on one or more of the following birth control methods:
Fees Fees are assessed based on a sliding scale, according to your income and family size. You will need to bring proof of income, and Sooner Care or Sooner Plan with you to your visits. No one is denied services based on inability to pay. Family Planning Hours Appointments are required for the Family Planning Clinic. Clinics are held on Wednesday 8:40 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. How to Make an appointment Please call (918) 623-1800 to schedule an appointment. Family planning services are available by appointment only. Parental consent for family planning services is recommended but not necessary. *Women of childbearing age who reside in Okfuskee County may also only request a pregnancy test or sexually transmitted disease (STD) exam. Pregnancy test are available on a walk in basis, Thursday and Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. STD testing are available on a walk in basis, Thursday, 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. |
