After October 9, 2009 all flu shots will be given through General Clinic on Thursday and  Friday 8:00 - 11:00 am
and 1:00 - 4:00 pm

H1N1 vaccine for high risk/priority groups is available though general clinic.  High risk/priority groups include the following:

  • Children, adolescents, and your adults ages 6 months - 24 years of age
  • Pregnant women
  • All healthcare and emergency medical services personnel
  • Any person who lives with, or provides care for, infants aged <6 months (e.g., parents, siblings, grandparents, and daycare providers)
  • Persons 25- 64 years who have medical conditions that put them at higher risk for influenza-related complications.

The vaccine will be available in the injectable and nasal spray form.  The nasal spray known as Flu Mist is approved for healthy persons 2 - 49 years of age who are not pregnant and who do not have any underlying, medical conditions.
Vaccine is also available at the health department during general clinic hours.
