Health and Safety

The mission of the Injury Control Division is to improve the health of Oklahomans by reducing injury-related mortality, morbidity, and disability by utilizing a comprehensive public health approach, including data, epidemiology, implementation of community-based prevention programs, education and public awareness, policy development, and evaluation.

Employee Safety

A primary goal of the Major County Health Department is to eliminate potential health and safety hazards for our employees and the public. One way we accomplish this is providing links to on-line safety training, material safety data sheets, and regulatory guidelines governing workplace safety.
