As your local health department, we are working to fulfill our mission:  To protect and promote the health of the citizens of Greer County, to prevent disease and injury, and to assure the conditions by which our citizens can be healthy.   We do this by monitoring the health of our community, identifying and responding to health threats, providing timely and accurate information, enforcing laws that protect health and providing quality services to prevent and control disease.

Whether or not you have utilized the direct services provided by our staff, the Greer County Health Department provides indirect protection every day for each person that lives, works and plays in our community. Whether we are inspecting restaurants, providing infant immunizations or investigating disease outbreaks, we are committed to our mission of providing a healthy community for all of the citizens of Greer County.
