Consumer Health

The Greer County Health Department (Consumer Health Service) is responsible for licensing and inspecting retail food establishments, public bathing facilities (swimming pools), lodging establishments, and barbershops.  Other services provided include investigating public health related complaints, investigating and managing animal bites, investigating possible food borne illnesses, investigating public smoking complaints, and providing educational services such as food schools.
