WIC Purpose The goal of WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) program is to give our children the best possible start in life. This is done by providing nutrition education, breast feeding support, healthy foods, and health care referrals during the critical stages of fetal and childhood development. It is a nutrition education and supplement program for pregnant, breast-feeding, and postpartum women, infants, and children up to five years of age. Enrollment Criteria Anyone is eligible for services provided they meet the income guidelines. Fees No fee is charged. Clinic Hours/How to Make an Appointment Monday through Friday Call for an appointment (580) 875-6121 Important Information Nutrition classes are mandatory every three months. Current authorized formulas are the following: Carnation Good Start and Good Start Soy. Other formulas may be provided for infants with documented special needs. For those who wish to breast feed, breast pumps will be issued if available and you meet requirements. Providers Services are usually provided by a Registered Nurse or Patient Care Assistant.
