CKC Quality Improvement This page was created in an effort to improve the quality of the Oklahoma CATCH Kids Club program. The page includes enhancements to the nutrition and physical activity components of the program and ideas to increase parental involvement, all of which can be used to supplement the new CKC Nutrition Manual. If you have any ideas or suggestions to add to this page please contact the CATCH coordinator, Ericka Williams (contact information below). Nutrition Here you will find several nutrition activities that include instructions, materials needed, and contact information for the health educator responsible for the activity. Supplemental Nutrition Lessons CKC Kid of the Day Stickers Use these sticker templates to award outstanding behavior and participation. They have been set up to print out on Avery 5095 name tag labels. They are 2.33" by 3.38" in size with 8 stickers on a page. CKC Cookbook Below you will find a cookbook with over a dozen recipes that can be used during CKC nutrition lessons. The pages should be printed double sided while being flipped on the short side. CKC Activity Cards These activity cards can be used to increase parental involvement. The cards can be sent home with the children for their parents to sign and return once they have completed the activity on the card. Physical Activity Card Recipe Activity Card Scavenger Hunt Activity Card Caught You! Activity Card Parental Involvement Here are other ideas to keep parents informed and involved with the CATCH Kids Club program. The home calendar is great way to keep parents updated on ASP and CKC events. It also includes nutrition facts for the entire family. The newsletter can be used to inform and educate parents. It is another great tool to keep parents involved with CKC. The Family Tip Sheets contain activities and information about making healthy behaviors a regular part of everyday life.
