Please call the following organizations for current studies:

Lupus Multiplex Registry and Repository, Lupus Genetic Studies
http://lupus.omrf.org

The Lupus Multiplex Registry and Repository is a long-term research project and is currently the largest multiplex lupus family registry in the world. The project consists of a large database of information, serum, plasma and DNA from families that have one or more members diagnosed with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). The information and materials will be used to more closely identify the genes that are involved in the development of lupus and to determine the causes of lupus which will lead to the development of better treatment for patients who suffer from this serious illness.

The study is seeking families of all ethnicities and ages that have ONE or more members diagnosed with systemic lupus to participate. Non-lupus participants, (aka-"Control" participants) are also needed.
