The Laura K. Savage Creativity in Nutrition Education Award is presented to the most creative nutrition education poster for WIC staff and a dietetic student at the Annual Oklahoma Nutrition/WIC Conference. The first place staff winner receives distinguished recognition, an award trophy, and the honor of representing Oklahoma WIC at the National WIC Association Conference.
 

The award is named in memory of Laura K. Savage, a nutrition education coordinator who died in a car crash in June 2001.
