Your PAST holds the key To unlock Your FUTURE health

Knowing and sharing your family’s health history is a gift of life. Your family history can reveal potential health problems that you may be at increased risk for in the future. This information can be very helpful to your doctor in caring for your health. 

The US Surgeon General encourages all families to learn more about their family health history, especially during the Holiday season.

A computer tool, called “My Family Health Portrait”, has been developed to help families draw their family tree and record illnesses. This history can help identify health issues that run in your family. This program can be downloaded free from the following website:  https://familyhistory.hhs.gov/
