"Vision Screening" means the process or system used to identify children in grades K, 1 and 3 who may be at risk of having or developing visual problems that may adversely affect their ability to acquire knowledge, skill or learning, for the purpose of recommending further evaluation by an eye care professional. A vision screening is not the equivalent of a comprehensive eye exam.
