Services

Program services promote and encourage parental competencies and positive behaviors by:

• Assisting the family in identifying strengths and healthy behaviors that already exist, and facilitating the acquisition and development of new strategies to become more self—sufficient
• Introducing the family to available community support resources
• Assisting communities in creating or expanding support resources for families in order to enhance their child rearing capabilities, and reduce social isolation
• Helping create a family and community environment that reduces the risk factors for abusive and neglectful behaviors
