Gov. Henry requests assistance for Oklahoma farmers

(Oklahoma City) Gov. Brad Henry today sent a letter to U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Ed Schafer requesting disaster assistance for farmers and ranchers in nine northwest Oklahoma counties suffering from drought and extreme weather conditions.

Gov. Henry Closes the Book on 2008 Legislative Session
June 06, 2008

(Oklahoma City) Gov. Brad Henry today finished taking action on bills passed during the 2008 legislative session. In all, 455 bills were sent to the governor for consideration. The governor signed 440 bills into law and vetoed 15 bills, two of which were line item vetoes.
