Go Gov! Updates

New Features!

  • Be sure to visit our newly added "Greenhouse" section of the Go Gov! Web site.  This is an area where we will not only provide information to current and past CMS updates, but also to future updates we will be providing.  If you would like a "sneak peek" of the future updates that are being cultivated by the OK.gov farmers, then the Greenhouse page is something you'll want to bookmark.  This is just another way for us to showcase what can happen when we throw a little fertilizer in with the really cool ideas our Go Gov! partners provide us with!  In fact, did you know that 95% of all CMS updates made were originally requested by users just like yourself?  Feel free to contact us to "plant the seed" for any new features or updates you would like to see incorporated to existing features.
  • The Notification Module has several new enhancements.  Some key updates to this module are:
    • Can / Can't un-subscribe option for users to apply to each notification group
    • CSV download function for view subscribers of each notification group
    • Selection of multiple groups to send notifications to
    • Extended fields added to allow users to request additional information from subscribers
    • Display of notification groups alphabetically on live site
  • A Print and Download function have been added to reports generated for registration events that have fees.  This update can be found in the "Transaction Report" area of the Registration Module.
  • An “Unzip Feature" has been incorporated into the Document Manager so that users have the ability to upload bulk files rather than one at a time.  Users can upload their zip file in it's entirety or "unzip" their file in order to upload it as multiple files.
  • Admin users will notice two new features:
    •  In the "SITE OPTIONS" area there is an option to control the default value of left navigational links.  The question that appears in the lower portion of a directory's "Page Info" section states:  " (This option does not apply to sites utilizing dropdown menus.)".   Users can assign a default answer to this question for new directories that are added to the site.  The default answer will be "No" unless an Admin user alters it.
    • In the "MANAGE GROUPS" area, there is an option to control the precautionary messages that appear throughout the Site Manager area.  The default answer will be "Enable" unless an Admin user alters it.  The two types of precautionary messages that can be controlled site wide are:
      • delete.gif Would you like to enable or disable the message "DO YOU REALLY WANT TO DELETE THIS ITEM AND ALL OF IT'S ASSOCIATED OBJECTS?" when users attempt to delete an item throughout the site?
        ENABLE DISABLE
      • publish.gif Would you like to enable or disable the message "DO YOU REALLY WANT TO PUBLISH THIS ITEM AND ALL OF IT'S ASSOCIATED OBJECTS?" when users attempt to publish an item in the site manager?
        ENABLE DISABLE
  • Edit Live! (Text Editor) has been updated to the latest version of Ephox.  Some of the updated improvements to the Editor are:
    • Word Count now excludes deleted text.
    • Table corruption when merging between rows in the last column has been corrected.
  • The script that checks for files has been updated so that when a user creates a directory, page, or link in the account, the system looks to see if this title already exists within that directory.  If the title is currently being used in this area, an error message will appear stating that the file already exists.  This update was made in order to eliminate duplicate entires of items in Site Manager.  (Note, duplicate titles can occur throughout the site, but not within the same directory.)

Bug Fixes

  • Extended max character limit in the password field when users selects the "Forgot Password" link.
  • Made the payment process more secure by only allowing transactions to take place in an "https://" environment and incorporating "Secure Payment Center" and "CyberTrust" images into the payment screens.
