The State of Oklahoma will hold a Runoff Primary Election on August 28, 2012, for the purpose of selecting party nominees for the various federal, statewide, and state legislative offices on the ballot.

There is no Runoff Primary Election in a statewide office this year. There will be a Runoff Primary Election for both the Republican and Democratic nominations in United States Representative District 2.
Runoff Primary Elections also will occur in several State Senate and State House of Representatives Districts.
No state questions will appear on the Runoff Primary Election ballot.
Uniformed services voters, overseas voters, and the eligible spouses and dependents of both groups who applied for absentee ballots for the Primary Election will receive absentee ballots for the Runoff Primary Election.
Absentee ballots for the Runoff Primary Election were available for transmission by mail, e-mail, or fax to uniformed services and overseas voters by July 13, 2012.
Registered voters either may use the Polling Place Locator to determine their correct Congressional and State Legislative Districts, or they may contact the County Election Board in their county of residence for this information. Voters who use the list of offices and/or candidates with the federal write-in absentee ballot should write the office title and district number, if applicable, and the name of the candidate for whom they wish to vote on the federal write-in absentee ballot.
