EDGE is a comprehensive plan that identifies key initiatives that would significantly improve Oklahoma's economy and quality of life – its “competitive edge”.  The Economic Development Generating Excellence (EDGE) plan is based on the work of 23 teams of statewide experts from both the private and public sectors that was integrated with contributions from more than 2,400 Oklahomans participating through public forums and online discussions.

The EDGE Fund supports technology related scientific research, collaborative public-private partnerships, and the commercialization of scientific discovery.  In doing so, it contributes to the growing competitiveness of Oklahoma, it helps accelerate scientific innovation, and it plays a key role in improving Oklahoma's quality of life.  

In the spirit of fostering innovation.  EDGE commits itself to providing useful resources for Oklahoma's residents and scientific community.
