FEDERAL GRANTS DIVISION STAFF

The District Attorneys Council (DAC) Federal Grants Division is staffed by seven individuals who are responsible for providing good stewardship of federal funds by effectively managing the fiscal and programmatic aspects of six federal grant programs.

DELYNN FUDGE, Director of Federal Grants Division 
DeLynn is responsible for the programmatic and fiscal management of all DAC Federal Grants Division grant programs. She serves as the contact point for the State and the federal granting agencies and reports to the Boards and Task Forces on the implementation of the grant programs. She supervises six Division staff members.  

TARA BUXTON, Program Specialist 
Tara serves as the program monitor for the the Justice Assistance Grant/Local Law Enforcement (JAG LLE), Paul Coverdell Forensic Science Improvement Grant (Coverdell), and the Residential Substance Abuse Treatment Grant (RSAT). As the program monitor, Tara assists subgrantees in implementing approved projects within a framework of relevant state and federal statutes, regulations, policies, procedures, and guidelines, in addition to providing monitoring, consultation and technical assistance to subgrantees.


KATHY CARROLL, Program Specialist 
Kathy serves as the program monitor for the S.T.O.P. Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) and Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN). federal grant programs and the subgrantee. As the program monitor, Kathy assists subgrantees in implementing approved projects within a framework of relevant state and federal statutes, regulations, policies, procedures, and guidelines, in addition to providing monitoring, consultation and technical assistance to subgrantees.

TOM CUNNINGHAM, Drug Task Force Coordinator 
As the Drug Task Force Coordinator, Tom serves as the central point of contact for operational support, consultation, and technical assistance for the multijurisdictional drug task forces throughout the state. He is a link between the drug task forces at the local level and the state and federal law enforcement agencies.

VIRGINIA EZZELL, Fiscal Officer 
Virginia is responsible for maintaining and managing the fiscal aspects of the federal grant programs. She requests funds from the federal granting agencies, disburses the funds to subgrantees, prepares and submits the numerous required financial reports to the federal granting agencies.

MELVINA GARCIA, Administrative Assistant
Melvina is the primary contact for persons calling the Federal Grants Division. She is responsible for providing administrative support for the entire Division.

HOANG LAM, Program Specialist 
Hoang serves as the Program Monitor for the Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) and National Criminal History Improvement Program (NCHIP). As the program monitor, Hoang assists subgrantee in implementing approved projects within a framework of relevant state and federal statutes, regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines, in addition to providing monitoring, consultation and technical assistance to subgrantees.
