GRANT TITLE: RESIDENTIAL SUBSTANCE ABUSE TREATMENT (RSAT) GRANT PROGRAM
 

prison-drugs-rehabOVERVIEW: The purpose of the Residential Substance Abuse Treatment Grant is to assist states and units of local government in developing and implementing residential substance abuse treatment programs within state and local correctional and detention facilities in which prisoners are incarcerated for a period of time sufficient to permit substance abuse treatment.
 

ELIGIBILITY: To be eligible for funding under this grant program, an applicant must be a(n): a) State Agency or b) Unit of Local Government (i.e., city, county, town). 
 

BOARD PRIORITIES: The RSAT Board, comprised of six members, is charged with reviewing grant proposals and determining awards for the grant funds.

REQUIRED LETTER OF INTENT:  Please send a letter on your agency's letterhead stating your intent to apply.  The letter of intent must be mailed, faxed, or emailed to DAC by March 30, 2012.

DEADLINE TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION: The Residential Substance Abuse Treatment Abuse Grant application period is open.    

TO REQUEST AN APPLICATION: To be placed on the mailing list to receive a Notice of Availability of Funds, contact the Federal Grants Division at 405/264-5008 or e-mail Veronica Kornegay at veronica.kornegay@dac.state.ok.us and provide your name, agency name, mailing address, and grant name for which you want to receive the Notice of Availability of Funds.
