Lt. Gov. Jari Askins, a gubernatorial candidate, will be the keynote speaker at the Women in Ag/Small Business Conference in Muskogee on Sept. 14, 2010. Muskogee County and Okmulgee County Conservation Districts are sponsoring the daylong event at the Muskogee Civic Center. Cosponsors include USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service, Farm Service Agency and Rural Development along with Farm Credit and the Muskogee County and Okmulgee County Cattlemen’s Associations. The two Cattlemen’s Associations will prepare and serve lunch from local agricultural products.
